A close look....WOW...

I take my steed (my bike of course), near one of the wind mills. I find them towering up for about 50 feet with the three blades(and in sum only two blades) , having a span of 25-30 feet long. These wind farms which number over in the thousands , give job oppurtunities for tens of thousands. One among the leading wind farms is the Suzlon. The below picture is one of the Suzlon's wind mill.

A Ride yesterday to "Asia's number one"

A ride from Nagercoil to Thiruchendur through the roads of Aralvaimozhy , you will find windmills on both sides of the road. This is the continents largest wind farm area providing more than half of power to the state. Winds , which make a biker hard to travel, are blowing throughout 9 months of an year. This provides a perfect duration for operation and maintenance of the wind mills. Here is a shot from a distance the wind mills here.
