Work Place

A late morning drive takes myself to Kudanculam in about one hour. The work done by man can sometimes amaze lots of people. In Kudanculam there is a new revolution in south India. Some ecologists respond furiously, while others are wondered by the job oppurtunities offered there. Below is a view of the power plant under construction. These are the reactors 1 &2.

Nurseries in Nagercoil

There is a great taste of ornamental plants among south Indian , especially in Nagercoil. There are lots of nurseries in town. There is particularly one that catches the eye. The location of this nursery is as follows
  • along the road from parvathipuram to collector's office.
  • near the Scott Christian College.
Its owner , J.Jeyaprabakharan David , a B.Sc graduate in agriculture from Allahabad University, is an enthusiastic plant lover. He collects seeds, treats and cares for these plants himself.

The beauty of certain flowers makes us wonder how God created everything. See and enjoy few of those flowers.

South Indians preserve natural resources

  • This picture is a taste of south Indian nature.
  • The roads in these beautiful places cut with the nature, instead of cutting it.
  • This photo was taken 10kms away from the township of Nagercoil.
  • The local people , though the numbers are few are nature loving people who live with their income from cattle and produce from the trees.
The place called Coconut city
  • Driving towards the east of Kanyakumari , the coasts of Malabar coast is full of coconut trees.
  • For people who love beaches , there are lots of beaches along the road.
